Dr. Joshua Csonka is a Colorado native who moved to Arkansas in 2012 to attend the University of Central Arkansas. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and began working as a cardiac nurse at Conway Regional Hospital for the following six years. In 2018, he began attending the Medical University of South Carolina online to pursue a degree in Advanced Practice Nursing. In 2022 he graduated with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree, specializing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He spent his Residency training with Dr. B. Brooks Lawrence, MD at Lawrence Family Medicine.
Joshua lives in Conway with his wife, Dr. McKenzie Csonka, who is a Conway native and works for Arkansas Children’s Hospital as an Educational Audiologist. They enjoy many hobbies together, such as Disc Golf, volleyball, kayaking, gardening, and going on drives with their dogs, Ren and Leo. Dr. Csonka is thrilled to work alongside Dr. Lawrence and Mrs. Reed in providing primary healthcare services in Conway.
Janet Reed grew up in Oklahoma and moved to Arkansas in 1992. She worked as a Medical Technologist for 30 years before going back to school. She joined Lawrence Family Medicine after graduating from Harding University P.A. School in 2007. She enjoys family medicine where she works with patients to achieve their health care goals.
She has been married to her husband, Steve, for 33 years and they have one daughter, Kirstie. She enjoys riding as a passenger with Steve on his motorcycle, and collects Trail of the Painted Pony horses. She loves horses and hopes to own her own horse in the future.
Dr. Lawrence grew up in Conway, Arkansas. He graduated from UCA in 1986 with a degree in chemistry. He attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences graduating in 1990. He completed his family medicine 3 year residency in the Air Force at Eglin Air Force Base Regional Hospital in Florida. After serving in the Air Force for 6 years, he returned to Conway in 1996 and established Lawrence Family Medicine. In his practice, he enjoys the entire aspect of caring for families with an emphasis on preventative health, diabetes, hypertension, and high cholesterol.
He has been married to his wife, Pam, for 30 years and they have four children. Dr. Lawrence enjoys spending time with his family and art.
